International Gymnastics Camp’s well equipped Health Center is staffed with live-in registered nurses and certified athletic trainers.
Our nursing staff is available around the clock to treat camper illnesses. Our nurses are also responsible for the dispensing of camper medications, which are secured in the Health Center at all times.
Our certified and athletic training students are also available day and night. Athletic trainers practice athletic training. They are health care professionals who collaborate with physicians to optimize activity and participation of patients and clients. Athletic training encompasses the prevention, diagnosis, and intervention of emergency, acute, and chronic medical conditions involving impairment, functional limitations and disabilities.
Cleanliness
Maintaining the health and well-being of all of our campers is achieved through strict adherence to the guidelines of the Pennsylvania Department of Health, the American Camp Association, Servesafe (Food Safety) and through the application of the strictest standards of International Gymnastics Camp.
All gyms, cabins, and bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized on a constant basis by specialized staff. Our dedication to clean, well-maintained facilities starts in the gyms, cabins, and bathrooms and continues into all areas throughout the camp including the grounds.
