Safety is our #1 priority at International Gymnastics Camp. It is this philosophy that inspired Bruno Klaus to invent the 6x6 Foam Block used today in gymnastics training gyms throughout the world.
Every staff member at IGC is First Aid/CPR certified, and has been pre-screened through background checks. IGC is the only gymnastics camp that is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA). The ACA works with the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Red Cross and other agencies to ensure that all camp programs, operations and direction reflect up-to-date research on child development, health and safety. This ensures that International Gymnastics Camp promotes positive development and enjoyment in a safe environment. We voluntarily go through a review of almost 300 standards, from staff training to emergency management, to ensure our continued accreditation.
All International Gymnastics Camp gyms include design elements that make progression learning standard and integrate innovative equipment to give young gymnasts a safe, confidence-building learning environment. Founder Bruno Klaus invented and developed the industry standard 6 x 6 foam block that is used today in gyms throughout the world, including IGC, to ensure a safe and effective instructional setting.
